Rule of 3

There have been so many meetings, workshops, training sessions and huge moves over the past few days, I haven’t been able to sit, reflect and take a breath yet. I am sneaking in a few minutes now just to write some thoughts, but there are still so many things to do.

When we were taking our Masters in Religious Studies in Don Bosco Center of Studies (would you believe we went to Bicutan every week from Antipolo for 3 years for classes? Thank goodness C6 was already available then), we were introduced to the RULE OF 3. Basically when describing, giving examples or explaining, it is always good to give 3 points. It is in our psyche to accept that as the norm. 2 is too little. 4 is too much.

It also applies to life. Things usually happen in threes. It is just the normal cycle of life, maybe intertwined with the psyche of things.

And now, with work, there are also three major things happening all at the same time. I’ll tease you with one: the work of the Live Christ, Share Christ Movement is moving so fast, and reaching so many areas, it is such an exciting challenge to be able to keep up!

LCSC came about as a way to give back to the Catholic Church. We have been sharing our experiences, teachings and programs – which have been formed over 30 years – to the Parishes, so we can help bring back more people to active service in the Church. In a Catholic country such as ours, we should be celebrating our faith so much, and living it out in our daily lives! So we should see less violence, corruption and anger on our streets. As we approach the 500th year of Christianity in the Philippines, we still have to move even faster.

For the other 2, you will have to wait 🙂 But these 3 things are so huge, they are game changers!
