Happy Pastries at ALPADI

This summer has seen a flurry of activities for the kids. We don’t live in a village with neighbors, so they can’t really go out on the street and play with the neighborhood kids. Though having 4 (going on 5) kids gives them an automatic barkada. Our eldest had summer bridging for 2 weeks over the summer (oh K-12, how I have strong opinions about you). So the middle two started with swimming. Our boy decided he didn’t like swimming lessons (though he loves swimming), so he didn’t finish his last 2 sessions. Is that a sign of things to come?

The older 2 continued swimming (one in basic and the second in advanced classes). And we put them in Filipino tutorials as well (check out Mind Meadows). We went to Tagaytay for Holy Week and Boracay for a few days. Now back to their summer schedule, which may seem even more hectic than normal school.

Yesterday we had baking lessons at home. Lee-An taught the kids and their cousins the basics of baking, and now they have the baking bug. Book Happy Pastries, Lee-An will come to your home and teach you how to bake! They now have baking and cooking sessions in the nearby mall. Pictures from the baking class below.

In the next few days, the boy will have Art Classes, which I am sure the older ones will want to get in on as well. They want to do painting (I contacted one in Antipolo, but he never got back to me). Still looking for sports in Antipolo too. One more month of hectic activity before school starts again!
