79 and the Story of Conviction.

“It appears that the call of money and the pressure of power is stronger than some people’s convictions.”
So sad to hear that the 104 became 79. Only after less than a week. The pressure of power and the call of money was too string for them. Sad that there are politicians who are just there for themselves and maybe their family members who need favors.
But even then, we have the 79 brave solons. Here are the 79 who said NO. Stuck to their convictions. We are PROUD OF YOU!
Italics are those who voted NO and not part of the original 104.

Senator Enrile was right when he said that he hopes this bill will help the country. Now it is time for those who voted yes to prove to us that all the things they said will come true: less maternal deaths, decrease in HIV, less women battery and all that. Because if not, then was it worth it?
Here are those that “changed their minds” / didn’t show up / bowed to pressure. Still with their original 104 numbering. BUHAY is there. My Congressman is there. 9YL is there. Pacman is there. Even my hero last week Congressman Dong Gonzales is there. Now, explain.
