Hopefully, this will be the last part. Yesterday was a hectic day, so we didn’t get to do any moving. Des still has her Sangkap Sarap today, so we will be doing the final moves without her. When we pick her up tonight, hopefully we will be going home to Pasig instead of Antipolo (oh no. No more food. No internet. Ack!).
We borrowed a truck to bring all the furniture. Unless we want the apartment to look this way forever:
That would be fun! Living without furniture. Very zen. Very Japanese. And we can eat raw stuff all day long. Though Sabine won’t take kindly to eating Flounder.
What was part 1?
We started moving stuff on the 17th. After cleaning all the dust and dirt from the apartment on the 16th. Wow, can you develop asthma from cleaning? I still have colds until now.
The first thing I put up in the new place was this:
… oh it is really bigger than that. I just took it from my phone pics. Anyway, it reminds me of my missionary calling. And it is a great rendition of who we should be, and even who we are naturally (Pinoys are fishermen!).
We brought in some stuff – but no big ticket furniture yet. And this particular item wanted to come along already:
