This is our FLiQ wall in our office. We have a small space where we fit all 8 of us. It’s nice and cozy, and of course we don’t have to scream across the room to get attention. But hey, that would be nice too!

We are celebrating the end of the 32nd year of CFC FFL and about to enter the 33rd. I always like to FINISH STRONG, and this year is no different. The team is really working hard to come up with a great shows starting Monday next week:

All you have to do is tune in every weekday at 8:00PM to join us. I’ll spoil it a bit. On Monday we have the Family and Life Update. Tuesday is the return of High Time. Wednesday is Modern Day Prophet LIVE! And we also have the Modern Day Prophet Project during the week. On Thursday is The Review. And Friday is Live Pure LIVE! Everyday is something fun, new and exciting.

It may be the end of the 32nd year and so we are FINISHING STRONG… but it is also the beginning of the 33rd year and we are STARTING STRONG So, go to the Anniversary Activities this weekend, and then on Monday, tune in!

I can’t end this without congratulating BUHAY again for FINISHING STRONG as well during the last elections. Number 1! I am sure we will all be STARTING STRONG for the defense of life and family this coming July. MaBUHAY!

We had Apple Fever at the HO, and now we have Android Fever! The phones from Cherry Mobile arrived today. All ready for the raffle draw tomorrow!

Half the prizes for the World Youth Day raffle arrived at the Home Office yesterday. And of course, Apple fever ensued.

Yesterday, we had our Community Conference. The opening salvo for the year. With the theme Faith Works Wonders!

I love going to these events because aside from the fact that our best friends are here, the best friends of our kids are here – we get to be filled and nourished with the experiences of others and ways to live by people old enough to teach us.

Pat led the worship, dad gave the talk. But the highlight of the year was a video that was shown. It was simple, yet so powerful, I had tears in my eyes. Just three people.

One SFL member who helped a MMDA street sweeper whose feet were rotting. He took a picture, posted it on Facebook, and it went viral. Simple things anyone can do. Instead of Amalying or Barneying. Use social media to help.

About a CFC FFL member, who doesn’t read nor write, yet is one of the most faithful and hardworking household servants. Sometimes, all it takes is faith. And the desire to help others.

And the last, a YFL member who went to the conference in Isabela. On the second day, he was told to come back to Manila. His mom had died. He offered it at the session in YFL. Posted the intention on the cross at the WYC. He got home, his mom was at the embalmer. But something happened. Before she could get embalmed, she suddenly started breathing! She was alive…. again!

Truly, faith. No matter how small. Faith works! We just need to believe. FAITH WORKS WONDERS. Because that is what it does. When we believe, great things… miracles…. HAPPEN!

These contests are fun, but we always have to remind those joining that it is evangelistic and not just a contest. Can’t help hurt feelings when people “lose”, but hope they see the bigger picture of spreading the message of faith through their designs.

We finished our CFC FFL planning session over the weekend at Antipolo. When great minds and hearts come together, unimaginable things happen. I won’t spill the beans, but hang on to your horses it’s going to be a wild 2013 ride!
